The artist’s most recent works present themselves as digital paintings - moving images which cannot be immediately deciphered. The imagery used in these animations includes both photographs and hand-painted oil paintings, sometimes depicting suburban domestic objects. Sections of the final image are layered with a digital “oil paint” filter, creating a space where both digitally and physically rendered paintings exist.
